Polo Match

We happened upon a polo match this weekend and enjoyed our first match of polo. Unfortunately my battery ran out after a few moments because it was nearly dead, but I got a few shots in before it died.

Then I switched to my new point and shoot (a Cannon Powershot SD 1000)to see if I could compare the two. I was relatively happy with the shots from that, but as expected the lens doesn't have the speed capabilities my full lenses have. The last one on here is taken with that new camera. Those ones did show up a lot grainier and not as sharp, but as far as the point and shoot capabilities, it worked out well.

I Love Fall!

We visited Lake Nockamixon last weekend and got a glance at the beginning of the beautiful fall colors. Although the bright colors last such a short period of time, they are always so beautiful when they are here.
