Another day in the city

On Father's Day, Jim and I headed down to Navy Pier since, although we have lived here for two years, we had never visited. I love this city because you always run into unexpected things.
I think my favorite, was watching the "silver" men walking to work. These guys dress up in a ton of makeup so people can't tell if they are statues or real and they usually move very slowly, so much so that you have to stand there for awhile before you realize they are moving. Of course their City of Chicago permits give away the fact they are real. I hear they make good money doing it.

This prayer booth is designed to look like a telephone booth, but upon closer inspection, you see there is a kneeler that folds down and a list of instructions on how to pray.....interesting.

This was just pretty. It was a perfect day to be on the lake and sailboats were everywhere. It kind of made me feel like I went back in time, however, when the four sail boat went by.
